@Evan Shanks you need to cut the 2-inch section from the mounting plate and the crash bar and the mounting plate need to be rewelded directly to the crash bar for it to sit behind the jdm bumper

It's the rear light impact crash bar that kept them from using the JDM bumper in the US. The rear beam that fits under the JDM bumper didn't meet IIHS standards. The super stupid thing about it all is the US beam is only rated for about 5mph impact.
